Golf Skills: Putting Drills Part One - In this segment, Coach Harris explains and demonstrates two putting drills working primarily on a straight putt of 5 feet or less. The Ladder Drill and the Three Ball Drill are set up with 5 tees placed a foot apart, progressively further from the hole. These golf drills allow a player to mark progress in putting skills and provide a tangible goal as skills improve.
Golf Skills: Putting Drills Part Two - The "Around the World" is another short putting drill, but the putt is no longer straight. Tees are placed to allow practice in various putting situations such as uphill breaking left to right or breaking left to right but downhill. This putting drill is also an exercise in reading the green as Coach discusses in this video segment.
Golf Skills: Putting Drills Part Three - Golf would certainly be an easier sport if putts were never more than 5 feet, but of course, that's not the case. This segment addresses Lag Putting techniques to help players get the golf ball to the comfort zone in 3 or less putts.
Golf Skills: Putting Drills Part Four - Continuing to work on challenging shots, Coach discusses the factors that go into whether the player should putt or chip. Also discussed is club selection for various shots off the green.
