Tennis Coach Ed Krass Founder and Director of the College Tennis Academy is ready to take your game to a whole new level. One-on-One Doubles is a half-court, serve and volley singles game played on a doubles court. All points are played crosscourt with the alley included. The workout is tremendous as you'll see in this tennis video series.


One-on-One Doubles: Introduction - Coach Krass introduces us to One-on-One Doubles and explains some of the many benefits of this style of play. Through One-on-One Doubles, players isolate the serve, return, and volley. The result is a very competitive, yet developmental game of tennis.

One-on-One Doubles: B.E.S.T. Serve - Starting with the warm-up, Coach takes us through the steps of the various serves utilized in One-on-One Doubles. From the net to the baseline Coach demonstrates the techniques to snap the ball into play.

One-on-One Doubles: Serve & Volley - Movement to the Net - First key ingredient to One-on-One Doubles is to work on the serve and volley while moving quickly toward the net. Coach leads us through drills for legwork, racquet work, and finally playing out the point in this video segment.

One-on-One Doubles: Variations - "No Bounce Doubles" is an aggressive variation of One-on-One Doubles and will really challenge players to push their skills to the limit. When the tennis ball hits the ground, the point is over. Talk about a workout!
